These beautiful Pilates Mats had arrived, all the way from Philadelphia, into our studio late summer '16 and after running a very successful pilot program with raving reviews and feedbacks I’m delighted to bring to everyone that new level of quality to enhance our Pilates practice.
Our Mat Classes
Our Mat classes are now on GRATZ Pilates Mats that are extra long, extra padded and include Foot-Strap and Hand-Dowels at each end.
The soft, thick, shock absorbing padding provides comfort and support for your spine, neck and knees whilst the handles and foot-strap add support and stability to the body for a MORE EFFICIENT, MORE EFFECTIVE workout.
Pre-Natal Pilates Classes
Pilates is one of the safest and most effective forms of exercise you could do while pregnant and postpartum!
Non-aerobic & gentle, Pilates is perfectly suited to help the body through pregnancy, prepare for labour and assist in recovery after giving birth. Pilates Studio Kildare is the first studio in Kildare to offer group Pre/Post Natal Pilates on the Reformer. We also offer group Pre/Post Natal Pilates Mat Classes.

Pilates Reformers are one of the main reasons I’ve decided to open Pilates Studio Kildare. I wanted to bring in Reformers and I could not schlep those around like mats and small props (no matter how big my then Passat boot was).
Yes, you can do Pilates without the machines Joseph Pilates had invented and build - of course you can. I’ve been teaching Pilates for 6 years since moving to Kildare without “machines” but I missed them. Joseph Pilates invent and build an amazing array of spring resistance based apparatus to accompany his Method. Each apparatus was designed to help accelerate the process of stretching, strengthening, body alignment and increased core strength. I wanted to bring that whole new level of Pilates practice, learning and understanding to my clients.
