There. I. Said. It.
(Yes, I’m aware I’m a Pilates teacher.... so please keep reading)
There are people that just absolutely LOOOVE to workout.
If they don’t get in a trip to the gym, a run or a jog, they just don’t feel right in themselves.
Me??
❌ I don’t find exercising enjoyable.
❌ I hate feeling out of breath.
❌ I dislike feeling exhausted.
❌ I don’t enjoy pain.
❌ I don’t want to feel any burn.
I look at fitness-type people with awe, admiration and a touch of envy.
Like morning-people that have the ability to get up early in the morning (when they don’t have to!), I feel the working-out people are kind of mystical creatures with abilities that I wish I had. 🦄
❓ How do they do it?
❓ Why can’t I be like them?
❓ What the heck is wrong with me.
These thoughts cross my mind every so often...
If it does, you’re not alone.
I’m right there with you.
Believe it or not, there’s quite a few of us out there in the world (Hi👋)
What you may NOT know is that -
You most certainly DO NOT NEED TO BE DOWN ON YOURSELF if - -
➤ you don’t want to go for run, OR
➤ you’re afraid you’ll get out of breath, OR
➤ you are worried about that pain in your (fill in the blank), OR
➤ you can’t get yourself up early in the morning to get to the gym, OR
➤ you feel too tried at the end of your day that only the thought of a workout drains you ...
And the good news is, you already are!
If you feel (or know) that you need to do more because your general life style is a bit sedative and your day-to-day if not enough... all you need is to * MOVE MORE * in a way that will maintain and/or increase your STRENGTH, make sure it's HEALTHY & SAFE for your body AND -
💗 FEELS GOOD 💗
You don’t need to be a certain type of person to move.
There’s no one type of person who embrace movement – we all do it.
More so, there’s no one “right” way to move – so who you are and how your body is feeling - IS ALWAYS RESPECTED!
It’s OK NOT to put yourself through discomfort (torture?) and endure something you really don’t like, don’t enjoy and don’t want to do.
(There is enough suffering in the world as it is, let’s not add to it).
And if THAT is what you’re looking for, our studio is here to SUPPORT & HELP you.
You’ll find people just like you, that don’t like to “exercise”, don’t want to be hurting but do WANT TO KEEP STRONG, HEALTHY & FLEXIBLE.
I see people like you in the studio every day.
Yes, I don’t like to workout.
I don’t like exercising.
I do, however, love MOVEMENT and it’s what I teach 💗
MOVEMENT is so wonderfully adaptable and multifaceted that it supports every human –
➤ no matter how old/young you are,
➤ what size you are,
➤ if you’re male or female,
➤ a morning person or a night owl,
➤ an introverts or extroverts,
➤ a weekend worrier,
➤ a book warm,
➤ a fitness fanatic or exercise haters ...
For 3 weeks, in 3 classes – 1hour 15min each – we will explore together your ability to move in ways that make you feel good.
The Pilates method is the foundation with the the 3 main apparatus: Tower, Reformer & Mat.
Awareness, options and choice through every move you make and every breath you take is very much part of the deal.
And, yes ... I’ll be watching you 😎
I’ll also be guiding you, encouraging you and teaching you how to trust your body that is CAPABLE and CAN do amazing things that feel AMAZING!
I’m excited to help you take a new step in the movement journey.
