Welcome to the Blog.

Apparently, you don’t need to be a writer to write a blog, which is just as well because I’m not a writer; I’m a Pilates Teacher (and a Pilates Studio owner).

This is where I'll try to add another layer of understanding of what we do, how we do it and at times some shorter items of random thoughts and/or reflections.

LONGER CLASSES - What Are They Good For?

Published on 1st Aug 2022 at 14:48 by Efrat (Aoife) Kahanov

This summer is the first time we're making our classes l o n g e r .

Up to this summer (2022) longer classes were only the privilege of special Master-Classes and Workshops.

The reason Masterclasses and workshops are longer is to be able to give more and teach more while having more time and space for people to take in the experience and information.

So why only give that for a once-off event?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to get that EVERY SINGLE TIME you come into the studio?

If you're making the effort to come to the studio  - and I KNOW it's not easy to carve that time for yourself and that you have to juggle other commitments and responsibilities to show up and (I do NOT take this effort you're making for granted!) - - -

I THINK YOU DESERVE THE SAME!

• You deserve to get deep guidance and full understanding.
• You deserve to have the time and space to figure things out.
• You deserve not to be rushed and take the time to try again.

So Longer Classes is my way to honour your commitment to showing up.

They also allow us a real chance to slow down, take a real break from our busy lives.

We can take the time we need to truly take things in, take a deeper dive and make the most of the connections, learning and work we do together.

If this will work the way I'm hoping it will, we just might continue the longer classes into Autumn...

At any case, I'm excited!

Yours,

Aoifeღ
