Because Pilates at its best gets personal, gets specific and offers more to an individual’s body than most other exercise modalities, Private Sessions are the ideal way to start Pilates and recommended for anyone with injuries or special conditions that require close supervision.

Your sessions will meet you where YOU are.

We aim to help you achieve a better understanding of your body. You will keep moving, receive attention to details and continuous added challenge focus on all of your individual needs.We will

We will utilise whatever apparatus / equipment and Pilates sequencing necessary to provide the best possible session especially for YOU!

Reformer, Tower, Pilates Arc, Mat and all Pilates props & accessories available in our studio will help us tailor sessions to suit your specific ability level and requirements with personal undivided attention from your instructor.

Assessment & Consultation

This initial session is recommended if you are not sure whether Private Sessions or what Group Classes will suit you best.

During an Assessment & Consultation session we discuss your concerns, go through your health and exercise history and conduct a postural and alignment analysis to evaluate functional movement, mobility and postural imbalances.

Sessions usually start with a chat about what brought you into our studio and what you’re hoping to achieve with Pilates practice.
You'll be asked about past illnesses, accidents, injuries and falls and some details about your life style: Do you work at a desk? Are you standing on your feet all day? Do you run, ride horses or play golf? How often do you practice these activities?

We then move onto one of Studio apparatus and start moving.
What Pilates equipment you’ll use during the assessment and what movements you’ll be asked to perform depends on the information you gave. This is when we start to identify weaknesses, instabilities, tightness and imbalances and begin to look at a plan specially designed to your needs or recommend a group class that will best suit your individual level and requirements.
